The last few seasons I'd switch off after the audition rounds and boot camp, those parts I find the most interesting, and they actually make for good TV - surprising, shocking. Some brilliant, some downright awful.
By the time the Live Shows come round we all know what we are in for, and barring the now annual celebrity duet on the finale, nothing is interesting, nothing is new.
The two boy bands in this years piece - Union J and District 3 are diabolically bad. I'm not saying that they don't have good voices, but they have voices that make young girls scream and Nan's stick the kettle on. They aren't going to change the world. Additionally we already have One Direction, it's their market boys, good luck getting it off them.
Then theres Rylan Clark. He can sing as well as my dog can tie shoelaces. But at least he get's the "Judges" bickering….
On the subject of the Judges; Louis Walsh looks like a face drawn onto a testicle, Tulisa is a pathetic excuse for a Chav and a has a face and a voice for a rubbish bin, Nicole Shirtlifter should just keep to lifting her shirt and Gary Barlow should have never lowered himself to this.
Finally theres Mr. James Arthur, thank goodness for you. Someone who actually has a voice that can keep a room full of the harshest critics (me, my mum and my cousin) silent for a minute and a half. Check him out below:
